How Homo Sapiens beat the Neanderthals

The Neanderthals had bigger brains, bigger muscles, bigger bodies, and survived many ice-ages. How then could Homo Sapiens take over Europe?

The answer: a symbiotic relationship with the dog. According to Wikipedia, dogs originated 100,000 to 15,000 years ago. Neanderthals became extinct in Europe approximately 24,000 years ago.

Dogs complement human hunters with their sense of smell and their hunting and guarding abilities.

I can find no record of Neanderthals having dogs.
